Gull Harbour Inn on Hecla Island

Visited from Winnipeg with friends while camping, very friendly people, and great food!! Very relaxing and peaceful dining experience plus crazy view

We couldn’t have been happier to host our wedding at Gull Harbour Marina. The setting was enchanting, with the natural beauty of the harbour at sunset creating a breathtaking backdrop. The solarium, adorned with string lights and candles, added a warm romantic touch. With 120 guests, it was the largest wedding the venue had hosted to date, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The team was incredible—Genevieve, the event coordinator, made sure all our questions were answered and handled every special request. Brayden, the GM, went out of his way to ensure a smooth execution. A huge thank you to Chef Alison for the most delicious meal—we had so many guests talk about how amazing the food was! We also booked all of the available rooms (more recently renovated so they are very clean and comfortable), making it an easy walk down the path after the big day. The sauna the next morning proved to be the perfect spot the next morning to finally relax and soak it all in. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with an attentive team, Gull Harbour Marina is the perfect choice. Our day was truly magical, and we couldn’t have asked for more! We are so thankful to them for making it such an unforgettable experience!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner here! We were a group of nine so tried several things on the menu and all were delicious. The portions are generous and the menu is varied. The classic margarita was excellent! The restaurant was particularly busy for a Tuesday evening but the staff of three handled it seamlessly. They made us aware that it might take a little longer to receive our food because it was busy but remained attentive to our table the whole evening and were all extremely pleasant and friendly. The decor is really lovely as well. Bright and airy and the three season room is spacious and you really feel you are dining outside without having to deal with mosquitos. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

My husband and I were just married at the Gull Harbour Restaurant and Inn. It was honestly the most beautiful venue with a solarium that looks right out onto the water and a beautiful deck. The place is already cute as is and didn’t need much decorating. The staff were WONDERFUL and so incredibly accommodating, kind and hardworking. We were so happy with everything and felt the venue was stunning and Genevieve and her team made it the perfect wedding weekend! Wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely perfect wedding venue and dining destination! My husband and I often make the trek to Gull Harbour for dinner and desert because of the lovely staff, the views and great food. Because of our love for Gull Harbour, we suggested it as a wedding venue for our daughter and her fiancé. Upon visiting it and meeting the staff, they booked the venue! They said the staff - and especially Genevieve who was their event planning contact - was so very helpful! She drew on her experience and closely supported their wedding planning process. The whole staff worked hard and delivered a fairy-tale wedding experience! The venue was beautiful in all its details! There was not a thing out of place. And their attention to cleaning prior to the event was so impressive! Even the photographer, who works many weddings, commented on how impeccable the venue was! The ceremony was held on the deck. There were indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to relax and visit. Many enjoyed relaxing on the deck into the evening, under the moon and stars. During the dinner we could hear waves lapping on the shore. It was perfect. The food was incredible! Every part of the meal was delicious! Every guest we spoke to thoroughly enjoyed the food. And the serving staff were very thoughtful and kind. The bride and groom, wedding party and many guests booked the cabins and stayed the night of the rehearsal and night of wedding. The accommodations were great and, after the wedding, the guests enjoyed relaxing around an outdoor fire. The venue was so beautiful and made for an excellent photographs. I highly recommend Gull Harbour as a wedding venue. Thank you to all the staff for your incredible service and for making this wedding an incredible experience! I can't thank you enough!
